The Program
The Red Program is a two year program that has been developed for the sixth and seventh year of school (Grades 5 and 6).
The Red program has 30 units of work. Each unit of work has a spelling focus (including spelling rules), a sound focus and a writing and grammar focus. The Early Stage is Units 1 to 15 (Grade 5) and the Later Stage is Units 16 to 30 (Grade 6).
Each unit of work has two weeks of planned activities. These activities include spelling revision, sound manipulation, auditory processing, writing, listening skills, punctuation and grammar activities.
The Red program has an accompanying workbook that is compulsory for every student for effective implementation of the DIPL program.
The full program includes
- One Teacher's Manual Set (containing an Early and Late Manual), including Answer Booklet and coloured Classroom Display Cards
- A Resources CD, with all reproducible games, homework sheets and activities that form part of the program
- A hard storage case
- Access to the Red DIPL Online Program
The full program only needs to be purchased once and contains one set of Teacher’s Manual Set with an Early and Late Manual (for one class).
Additional classes will need to order:-
- Additional Teacher's Manual Set (one per class). Early Teacher's Manual Set is Units 1 to 15 (Grade 5). Later Teacher's Manual Set is Units 16 to 30 (Grade 6).
All classes need to order:-
- One workbook per student
